The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB) is the Regulatory Body for horse racing in Ireland, which is a _2.5 billion industry supporting over 30,000 jobs. The IHRB is responsible for safeguarding the integrity and reputation of Irish horseracing and enforcement of the Rules of Racing and Irish National Hunt Steeplechase Rules and as part of this remit it is also responsible for licencing all industry participants. These participants include Trainers, Riders, Racecourses, Valets, Agents and Stable staff. The IHRB engages data-driven integrity assurance tools, one of which is betting market monitoring. The purpose of this service is to identify unusual or anomalous betting activity which may warrant further regulatory review by IHRB personnel.
